Emergency drainage repairs Record-breaking rainfall in the spring and summer of 2023 stressed Littleton’s stormwater infrastructure, causing several aging corrugated metal pipes to collapse.Crews are hard at work replacing failed metal pipes with larger reinforced concrete pipes, which will increase durability and resilience.
Mineral Station West Multimodal Improvements The City of Littleton is improving multimodal facilities to enhance safety and to provide integral connections for both pedestrians and bicyclists. The Mineral Station Area Multimodal Improvements project provides enhanced connectivity between the RTD light rail station, surrounding neighborhoods, and the Mary Carter Greenway Trail, an integral component of the regional trail system.
City ADA Transition Plan The City of Littleton has been evaluating the accessibility of the public right-of-way and city-owned facilities. This effort has culminated in the creation of draft transition plan describing how the city will achieve compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA, 1990).
County Line Trail Connections The County Line Trail Connections project will improve safety and connectivity for pedestrians and bicyclists along County Line Road and the High Line Canal Trail in the area between Southpark Terrace and Broadway.
Broadway & Littleton Blvd/Mineral Ave Intersection Reconstructions The City of Littleton received funding through the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) to redesign the intersections of Broadway and Littleton Boulevard and Broadway and Mineral Avenue to increase safety for travelers of all modes, improve intersection operations, and improve multimodal facilities through each intersection.
