On September 16, 2025, City Council approved the Littleton Engineering Design Standards and Specifications based on Resolution 89-2025(PDF, 1MB) .

Effective immediately upon approval, the Littleton Engineering Design Standards and Specifications (LEDS) is the official governing document for all city requirements, design criteria, and implementation standards for public infrastructure and private construction in Littleton. Established to ensure consistency, safety, and long-term maintenance, LEDS serves as a critical resource not only for city staff, but for consultants, contractors, and developers. It covers essential topics including, but not limited to, construction materials (e.g., asphalt and concrete), water quality requirements, traffic signal design, and contractor responsibilities. LEDS applies to city-led projects, private development, new construction, right-of-way permits, and infrastructure maintenance. This document will be updated periodically to reflect industry best practices and align with strategic policy guidance, including the Envision Littleton: Transportation Master Plan.

Littleton Engineering Design Standards and Specifications, and Supplemental Document, City of Littleton Transportation Impact Study Guidelines may be reviewed under the Design Requirements dropdown on this page.
