Demolition of Structures

 Submittal Requirements

• Colorado State Demolition Approval notice is required for each structure being demolished. (If available, provide Asbestos Abatement Report).   

• A site plan indicating the following:Structure(s) on the property that will be demolished.
  1. Square footage of each structure (s)
  2. Floodplain, if applicable
  3. Utility Disconnects
  4. Utility Tie-Ins
  5. Utility Ownership
  6. Area of Disturbance

• A separate GRADING permit 
  • Visit Grading Permit Information

• A debris hauling map or turn-by-turn written instructions indicating the shortest route to the nearest state highway from the demolition address. 

• All utilities will need to be disconnected prior to demolition. Please complete the Demolition-of-Structures-Disconnects.pdf(PDF, 92KB) form and provide proof of approval from applicable Utility Provider(s).
  
  
• Obtain and provide proof of Denver Water approval:  Email Denver Water to get approval for water service disconnect.
