The Lee Gulch at Carbone Park Improvements Project, delivered in partnership with the City of Littleton and the Mile High Flood District will stabilize the Lee Gulch channel, address ongoing erosion concerns, improve drainage function, and enhance long-term protection of nearby trails and open-space amenities. This project will address erosion concerns that threaten the stability of the trail and adjacent properties. The existing pedestrian bridges are being replaced to address erosion problems and improve conveyance. The existing crushers fines trail will remain. Some trees will require removal with the project and will be replaced.
The project will start construction in November 2025.
