Accident History
In addition to the accident data that was presented at the January 27, 2016 community meeting #1, more comprehensive data will be obtained for the Mineral Avenue corridor. This information will provide city staff with the location, type and severity of the accidents, from which the data can be assessed for identifying modifications that will correct certain types of accidents. In addition, accident rates can be calculated by combining the frequency and severity of the accidents with the traffic volumes to determine how critical the conditions are for the area compared to other areas of the city.
