Current Projects

Broadway & Littleton Blvd/Mineral Ave Intersection Reconstructions

The City of Littleton received funding through the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) to redesign the intersections of Broadway and Littleton Boulevard and Broadway and Mineral Avenue to increase safety for travelers of all modes, improve intersection operations, and improve multimodal facilities through each intersection.

Broadway at Lee Gulch Culvert Repair and Underpass

The City of Littleton will replace a deteriorating 66” Corrugated Metal Pipe under Broadway to prevent road failure and flooding concerns. This culvert lies 30 feet below roadway surface and will require full replacement.

County Line Trail Connections

The County Line Trail Connections project will improve safety and connectivity for pedestrians and bicyclists along County Line Road and the High Line Canal Trail in the area between Southpark Terrace and Broadway.

Elati Street Corridor Study

The study will explore strategies to enhance transportation safety along the corridor and at key intersections. It will identify improvements that can be made in the short-term, while also considering funding needs for future design and construction projects.

Euclid Avenue Multimodal Improvements

The Euclid Avenue Multimodal Improvements Project will create a safer and more accessible route along the Euclid Avenue corridor between Elati Street and South Broadway.

Euclid Neighborhood 2026 Street Reconstruction

The Euclid Neighborhood 2026 Street Reconstruction project will reconstruct several streets (Euclid Avenue, Cedar Street, Datura Street, Elmwood Street, Arapahoe Road, and Carlson Drive) in the Sterne Park and Ketring Park neighborhoods in Littleton.

Main / Alamo / Prince - Bridge Fence Repairs

Repair and maintenance of fences and associated infrastructure along the Main Street, Alamo Avenue, and Prince Street bridges

Mineral Mobility East Improvements

Implementation of enhancements and modifications to sidewalk, trail, street crossings, and intersections to improve safety and connectivity for pedestrians and bicyclists to the RTD Mineral Light Rail Station. Improvements will be along Mineral Avenue from Windermere Street to Jackass Hill Road, Mineral Avenue Trail, and Jackass Hill Road.

Mineral Station West Multimodal Improvements

The City of Littleton is improving multimodal facilities to enhance safety and to provide integral connections for both pedestrians and bicyclists. The Mineral Station Area Multimodal Improvements project provides enhanced connectivity between the RTD light rail station, surrounding neighborhoods, and the Mary Carter Greenway Trail, an integral component of the regional trail system.

Pavement Management Plan

Littleton maintains 161 miles of streets with strategies ranging from quick pothole fixes to full reconstructions.

Pedestrian Bridge Projects

The City of Littleton has identified several pedestrian bridges in need of repair or replacement due to aging and environmental impacts.

Platte Canyon Road Intersections Improvements

The Platte Canyon Road Intersection Improvements project along Platte Canyon Road encompasses upgraded pedestrian crossings, expanded turning lanes, improved bus stops, and modernized signal equipment to enhance safety, accessibility, and connectivity.

Prince Street Link

The Prince Street Link Project will provide safety and accessibility improvements along Prince Street between Lake Avenue to Alamo Avenue, including reconstruction of the Prince Street and Church Avenue intersection.

Project Downtown - A Downtown Mobility & Streetscape Improvements Plan

The City of Littleton has developed a downtown mobility and streetscape improvements plan called “Project Downtown” to guide the City’s investment decisions to improve multimodal connectivity, parking, pedestrian safety, wayfinding, green infrastructure, and streetscape enhancements in Downtown Littleton.

Reynolds Landing Park

Reynolds Landing Park is a 13-acre parcel along the South Platte River that currently includes an existing open space, the Superchi property (an abandoned house that the city acquired), and a stretch of ecologically degraded river. Littleton has partnered with Mile High Flood District (MHFD), South Suburban Parks and Recreation District (SSPRD), and Arapahoe County since 2016 to begin transforming
