Berry Gardens Community Garden

The City of Littleton owns and operates two year-round community gardens with individual plots assigned to gardeners on an annual basis for $50 per calendar year. The Shepperd Gardens at 2171 W. Shepperd Avenue has 120 plots and the Berry Gardens at 703 W. Berry Avenue has 42 plots and 5 wheelchair-accessible raised planters.

Gardeners must live or work in the Littleton city limits to participate in the community gardening program. Gardeners are required to complete 6 hours of community garden work throughout the year to improve and maintain the garden grounds. Community garden workdays will be made available for participation as well as opportunities outside these designated workdays. Gardener social events and educational opportunities will also be provided throughout the year for those interested. Most of the plots are approximately 20' x 20' and a limited number are available at both locations.
